The Client

A skincare ecommerce brand operating in Saudi Arabia — an Arabic-speaking market with its own search behaviour, purchasing psychology, and content expectations. Skincare is one of the harder ecommerce categories to crack: high consideration, brand-sensitive, and dependent on trust and social proof before a customer will convert.

The ads weren’t the only problem. The website was working against them too. Between a broken product recommendation system, unoptimised landing pages inflating CPC, and campaigns running without localised creative — there was a lot to fix before scaling made any sense.

Three Layers of Damage — Ads, Website, and Content.

Unoptimised landing pages punishing ad costs — Google’s Quality Score penalises poor landing page experience with higher CPCs. Every click was costing more than it should because the pages people landed on weren’t built for conversion or relevance.
Wrong products showing in related collections — the site’s product recommendation logic was surfacing irrelevant items on every product page, killing cross-sell potential and damaging trust at the point of decision.
No localised creative for an Arabic audience — generic ad assets don’t work in a market with distinct visual preferences and language. The Shopping feed, ad copy, and creative weren’t built for Saudi consumers.
No UGC or video in the funnel — skincare purchases are driven by social proof. Running campaigns without user-generated content or video meant the brand was advertising into a high-consideration category with the lowest-trust format available.
SEO issues compounding the CPC problem — thin page content and structural SEO problems were reducing page authority, which fed back into Google’s ad relevance scores and kept costs artificially high.

Fix the Foundation. Then Deploy the Full Stack.

This wasn’t an account you could patch with bid adjustments. The website needed work before the campaigns could perform. We went in layers — site first, then creative, then the full Google AI Power Pack.

1

Rebuild Landing Pages for Conversion and Quality Score

We fixed the pages people were landing on — improving relevance, load speed, layout, and trust signals. This directly reduced CPC by improving Quality Score. The same budget now bought more clicks at a lower rate.

2

Fix Product Recommendations and On-Site SEO

We corrected the broken related products logic so the right items appeared in the right collections. Alongside this, on-site SEO improvements strengthened page authority and reduced the organic-to-paid cost bleed.

3

Build Arabic-First Creative and Shopping Feed

The Shopping feed was rebuilt in Arabic with localised product titles, descriptions, and attributes matching how Saudi consumers actually search. All ad assets — copy, images, and video — were created for the local audience, not translated from English.

4

Introduce UGC Video Into the Funnel

We produced and deployed user-generated content video ads across the funnel. In a high-consideration skincare category, UGC provides the social proof that static ads simply can’t deliver. It changed how the brand was perceived at every stage of the purchase journey.

5

Deploy the Google AI Power Pack Across the Full Account

Once the foundation was solid, we implemented the complete Google AI Power Pack — AI Max Search, Performance Max with UGC video assets, and Demand Gen campaigns. With clean data, quality landing pages, and localised creative feeding the algorithms, the account scaled the way it was supposed to.

What Made the Difference

The technology was available to every competitor in this market. What separated this account was doing the unsexy work first — fixing the website, fixing the feed, building real creative for a real audience. Once that was in place, the AI tools had something worth amplifying. That’s when SAR 768K became SAR 3.5M.
