Challenge: Managing and scaling a massive product catalogue with limited testing bandwidth
The Challenge:
This dropshipping store had 31,000+ products in jewellery and clothing—each with multiple variations.
Testing each category, product, or variation individually? Not realistic. With low-ticket, high-margin products, the brand needed volume fast—but without burning ad spend on non-converting items.
Strategy
We took a data-driven yet aggressive approach—testing at scale without micromanaging.
We divided the entire store into two core categories:
- Clothing
- Jewellery
From there, we launched highly-structured Search and Shopping campaigns to identify what sells fast.
Search Ads:
- A/B tested Responsive Search Ads vs. Dynamic Search Ads
- DSAs won—automating keyword matching while surfacing strong-performing items
Shopping Ads:
- Optimized the feed using high-converting keywords, plus product age, gender, colour, and size
- Created two primary Shopping campaigns—Clothing and Jewellery
- Let the data decide: only scaled products that were converting profitably, and cut the rest
Retention:
We worked closely with the email team to convert first-time buyers into repeat customers, giving us more revenue without increasing ad spend.

- Ad Spend: $167K
- Revenue Generated: $326K
- Purchases: 6,470
- ROAS: 1.95x
